This one-of-a-kind pouch was inspired by the Komebukuro - ‘Japanese rice bag’.
A Komebukuro is a drawstring bag that was traditionally used in Japan to carry offerings of rice to temples.
This handy pouch measures approximately 15cm x 20cm and has so many uses - especially when traveling: for jewellery, make up, tablets, or lingerie.
Great as a little project bag, gift bag, or even to carry snacks.
Quilted and lined, it is made from a carefully selected collection of my favourite fabrics in red, pink and brown hues.
