This one-of-a-kind pouch was inspired by the Komebukuro - ‘Japanese rice bag’.
A Komebukuro is a drawstring bag that was traditionally used in Japan to carry offerings of rice to temples.
This handy pouch measures approximately 21cm x 21cm and has so many uses - especially when traveling: for baby items, toiletries, clothing.
Great as a little project bag or gift bag.
Fully lined, it is made from a carefully selected collection of my coordinating fabrics. The bottom half of the bag is quilted to give it structure and to highlight the koala print.
