Indulge your individual style - wear ethical textile art created from salvaged local material.
Each unique pair of eco-friendly earrings showcases a special hand screen printed Indigenous Australian fabric.
This pair has been crafted using carefully selected off-cuts from Injalak Arts in Gunbalanya, West Arnhem Land, Northern Territory.
Artists: The collaborative design was created by three Daluk (Women) artisans Priscilla Badari, Katra Nganmirra and Sylvia Badari.
Art: Marebu (Marebu is the Kunwinjku term for woven mats).
I have included a picture of the artwork other colour-ways so you can see the whole design.
The earrings are backed with upcycled felt making them soft and light to wear.
A small wooden bead, reclaimed from a necklace, adds detail.
All new findings.
Eco-friendly earrings come with a card detailing the origin of their material.
